Industrial water treatment plant with stainless steel process skids at dusk

Glorinda GmbH · Wiesbaden, Germany

Turnkey industrial water, energy and process solutions, engineered in Germany.

Glorinda GmbH develops technology, supplies equipment and carries engineering responsibility for industrial projects across four sectors — from a single package to a complete plant. Head office in Wiesbaden; delivery across Europe, the CIS and MENA.

Choose your route

Start where you are

Eight ways into the same organisation. Pick the one that describes your morning and you will land on the right page rather than a brochure.

I have a problem in the plant

I have a problem in the plant

Rising water costs, a discharge limit you keep brushing, scale in the boiler, sludge you cannot afford to haul. Start from the symptom and we will work back to the cause.

I am scoping a project

I am scoping a project

Greenfield, expansion, debottlenecking or revamp. We size the concept, compare the routes and tell you honestly which one your site can actually operate.

I know the technology I want

ZLD, MBR, EDI, CCRO, PSA, MVR. Go straight to the technology page for process detail, operating envelope and the questions we will ask before quoting.

I need a specific product

I need a specific product

Resins, analyzer packages, steam turbines, liquid ring vacuum pumps and the packages they sit inside — developed under the Glorinda brand.

I need engineering or project support

I need engineering or project support

Feasibility study, EPC selection and tender advisory, owner's engineering, EPCM, commissioning and start-up.

I want an industrial partnership

I want an industrial partnership

Manufacture under the Glorinda brand, joint ventures, distribution and offtake. Ten contract structures to fit the relationship, not the other way round.

I have a technology to commercialise

I have a technology to commercialise

We take strong regional technologies international — branding, engineering support, sales network, warehousing and, where it fits, investment.

I need the project financed

I need the project financed

A German authority-backed framework for asset-based projects between €20m and €350m, with tenors typically running 7–15 years and beyond.

What we do

Four sectors, one engineering discipline

The processes differ. The method does not: characterise the stream, select the technology against the data rather than the catalogue, and design for the people who will run it at three in the morning.

ENV · Sector

Environment

Industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment, seawater desalination, sludge management, hazardous and industrial waste, and direct lithium extraction. This is our deepest technical bench: pre-treatment, ZLD and MLD, membranes, adsorbents, ion exchange, EDI and advanced oxidation are all in-house process disciplines.

ENE · Sector

Energy

Renewable generation, waste-to-energy, fossil-fuel plant upgrades and five families of energy storage. We work on the parts of an energy project that decide whether it runs: water and steam chemistry, heat recovery, residue handling and the balance of plant.

O&G · Sector

Oil & Gas

Midstream and downstream: small and medium-scale LNG, refrigeration packages, rotary machinery skids, pneumatic and mechanical material handling, silos, pressurised and cryogenic storage, and PSA or membrane high-purity gas production.

F&P · Sector

Food & Pharma

Drying and separation for regulated production, plus the water systems that sit underneath it: purified water, water for injection, clean steam, CIP effluent and whey protein recovery that turns a disposal cost into a product.

How the offer fits together

Technology, products, engineering

Most suppliers sell one of these. Buying them separately is how plants end up with equipment that meets its datasheet and a process that does not meet its permit.

Technologies

Process routes we own the know-how for: ZLD and MLD, membrane separation including silicon carbide, anaerobic membrane bioreactors, adsorption, ion exchange and EDI, advanced oxidation, evaporation and crystallisation, thermal and mechanical drying, PSA and membrane gas separation, and direct lithium extraction.

Products

Products

Equipment developed under the Glorinda brand and built by qualified OEM partners: over 200 resin types, analyzer and metering packages, steam turbines from 50 kW to 180 MW, liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors, dryers, silos, tanks and skid-mounted rotary machinery.

Services

Services

Engineering across the project lifecycle, industrial services after handover, system integration, OEM manufacturing, trading and procurement, and project finance. Six service lines that can be bought individually or as a turnkey scope.

Core capability

Water is where we go deepest

Water and wastewater is Glorinda's most specialised activity. The objective is always the same: recover the maximum, discharge the minimum, and avoid the outdated process that looked cheap at tender and was not.

We design and deliver industrial water treatment plants, industrial and municipal wastewater treatment plants, seawater desalination plants, and water reuse and recovery systems — as complete packages or as the pre-treatment, ZLD, post-treatment or sludge stage inside someone else's plant.

The water and wastewater offering is expanding into its own dedicated site. This section presents the full capability and links onward as that content goes live.

Partnership

Three ways to work with us that are not a purchase order

A substantial share of what Glorinda does is building the commercial structure around a technology rather than selling one.

Manufacture under the Glorinda brand

Manufacture under the Glorinda brand

Four branding models, from full production at your facility under our name to engineering by us and integration by you. You keep making what you are good at; we carry the brand, the market access and the after-sales presence.

Commercialise a technology

Commercialise a technology

Strong regional companies stall at distance, time zones, language, thin after-sales coverage and no international references. Our accelerator supplies exactly those missing pieces.

Finance the project

Finance the project

Access to long-term structured financing aligned with German public financing authorities, for asset-based projects with a clear technical scope, measurable outputs and long-term operation.

Proof

Evidence, honestly labelled

Reference projects and client logos are being cleared for publication with the clients concerned. Rather than fill this page with stock imagery and invented numbers, the placeholders below show exactly where that evidence will sit once it is released.

What we can evidence today is our management system, our scope of certification and the technical depth of the pages on this site. If you want references for a specific technology or region, ask — we will share what the client has agreed we may share.

Insights

Recent notes from the engineering team

Evaporator and crystalliser train in a zero liquid discharge plant

What zero liquid discharge really costs you

ZLD is sold as a technology. It is really a pre-treatment decision, and the money is made or lost before the first evaporator.

Electrodeionization stack and mixed bed vessels in a demineralisation plant

EDI or mixed bed: which polisher fits your plant

Higher capital cost, lower running cost, no acid and caustic on site. The trade-off in numbers we can actually support.

Anaerobic membrane bioreactor tanks with external ultrafiltration units

High-COD effluent is a fuel bill, not a disposal bill

Aerobic treatment burns power to destroy organics. Anaerobic membrane treatment turns the same load into biogas.

FAQ

Straight answers

Both, and they are usually bought together. We develop products under the Glorinda brand and have them manufactured by qualified OEM partners, we engineer and integrate the process packages those products sit inside, and we take engineering and project roles around them — feasibility consultant, EPC advisor, owner’s engineer, EPCM contractor, and EPC contractor where the scope suits it. You can buy any one of those on its own.

No. Glorinda is the brand owner and the technical authority. Products carrying our name are built by qualified OEM manufacturing partners inside a quality-controlled supply chain that we specify and audit. We own the technical specification, the branding, the quality control and the custom product development. Being honest about this matters more to a procurement engineer than pretending otherwise.

Typical engagements run from around €200,000 to several million euros. Sales cycles are correspondingly long — six months to two years is normal for a plant-scale decision, and we plan our involvement around that rather than pushing for a quick close.

Our network covers Europe, the CIS and the MENA region, with head office in Wiesbaden, Germany and branches across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia. We are actively developing South America. Priority order for new work is Europe, then the CIS, then MENA, then South America.

Glorinda operates an Integrated Management System certified to ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety). The ISO 45001 scope covers engineering services, equipment and spare parts procurement, construction management, installation, commissioning, operating, troubleshooting and maintenance for oil, gas, petrochemical, water and wastewater treatment, energy and environmental projects.

Yes, in the roles that suit our capability. We can run the feasibility study, define the technical scope, help you select and contract an EPC, act as your owner’s engineer during execution, supply the technology packages, supervise erection, and commission and start up the plant. Civil construction is performed by local contractors — we supervise it rather than self-perform it, which keeps the risk where it belongs.

Get in touch

Tell us the constraint, not the specification

Send the stream data, the permit condition or the equipment list you are working from. An engineer reads every enquiry and replies with the questions that actually decide the answer.
